Affectionately known as an Arbol pepper, it's of Mexican descent, has a Scoville value of 30,000 and is similar to the Jalapeño and Cayenne peppers. The Arbol Pepper Infused honey, unlike our smoky Chipotle Infused honey, keeps it simple. It's simply sweet with a kick of heat!
Easy appetizer idea: drizzle over cheeses like Parmesan, Camembert or fresh Mozzarella
Brush on grilled seafood (shrimp, scallops) just before removing from the heat
Create a delicious salad dressing: 2 Tbsp Arbol Pepper Infused Honey + 2 tsp soy sauce + 1 Tbsp sesame oil + 1/4 cup oil. Toss with greens, grilled chicken and Asian noodles.
Sauté or roast fresh green beans or asparagus - toss with Arbol Pepper Infused Honey before serving
