Fiery and complex, Berbere is an important spice blend in Ethiopian and Eritrean cuisine. The earthy and pungent spice notes can be used in casseroles, curries, baked vegetable dishes, to season grilled meat or vegetables, and blended into a paste. Our version is spicy and vibrant, but not overwhelming.
