Meadowsweet

Meadowsweet has been used to treat heartburn, stomach ulcers, colds, joint pain, arthritis, and gout. It contains salicylates, which possibly give the herb an aspirin-like effect, particularly in relieving aches and pains during a common cold. Use in tea blends and tinctures.

Caution: Do not use it if allergic to aspirin.
