Increasingly part of the popular culture, chai has been blended for centuries in Southern Asia, with each family recipe subtly unique. Our chai is made with cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, allspice, cloves, and black pepper; the spicy blend is the coupled with a hearty black tea to fill out this invigorating beverage. Usually served with cream and sugar, chai is amazing both hot and iced, perfect for summer and winter treats!
Ingredients: Cinnamon, Ginger, Green Cardamom Pods, Black Tea, Allspice, Cloves, Black Pepper
Brewing Instructions: (Preferred method - This recipe makes 14 cups!) 1/2 cup tea blend to approximately 7 cups water. (Note: you will be adding 4-7 cups milk) Put chai tea in water and heat slowly to a boil. Add any sweeteners to taste and low boil 5-10 minutes. Stir again and turn the pot off. Steep another 15 minutes. Do taste test but don’t burn your tongue! When satisfied, strain and add warmed milk. Experiment for personal taste and Enjoy!
