Jade Gyokuro is a unique green tea that originates from En Shi, in Hubei province. It is the only famous Chinese green tea that is processed using steam deactivation entirely. Gyokuro is shade-grown, which increases the levels of chlorophyll in the leaf - this adds depth, flavor, color, and complexity to the tea, and significantly increases its nutritional content as well. Our Jade Gyokuro has a silky mouthfeel, is "buttery", full-flavored, with a characteristically Chinese green tea flair.
